Wow! We had a great deal of fun at this year’s Sock Hop! Thank you to Diana Cole and her amazing volunteers for their efforts to provide such an outstanding experience for our CLS Families. Our next major event will be our Veterans Chapel on Wednesday, November 13, at 8:45 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Please extend invitations to veterans and active military acquaintances.

Stubborn Temporary Tattoos… Here is a quick trick for getting stubborn, temporary tattoos off - put a generous amount of baby oil or rubbing alcohol on the tattoo, let it soak in for 10 seconds, and then wipe it off.

First Trimester Ends… October 31 marks the end of our first trimester. Watch for emails from your teachers TODAY to sign up for parent-teacher conferences. Report cards go home on November 8. Parent-teacher conferences are held November 13 – 14.

Fall Spirit Day on October 31… Students are invited to wear friendly and fun fall/harvest/Halloween-themed shirts, socks, and accessories with their uniform bottoms and shoes. The attire should be school-appropriate. Nothing scary. No costumes, masks, face paint, wigs, etc.

No K-8 School on Friday, November 1… CLS teachers will be having CPR training and completing first-trimester report cards while your kids are in candy comas, but if you need all-day care, sign up by 5:00 p.m. on October 29. All-Day ESC November 1

Veterans Chapel… Christ Lutheran School will host a special chapel on Wednesday, November 13, at 8:45 a.m., honoring veterans and active military. Following chapel, we will have a simple brunch for our honored guests. Would you donate fresh fruit, orange juice, or water? Please sign up here.
