March 22 Update
Dear CLS Families,
Early Release on Friday, March 24… K-8 will have a 12:30 p.m. release and ESC will close at 4:30 p.m. Please plan to pick-up in carline at 12:30 p.m. or from ESC before 4:30 p.m.
Weekly Emails… You will continue to receive CLS’s weekly notes from Ms. Schwarz via email and they will be stored on our website at https://lutheranschool.org/news We know that you get millions of emails (and school emails are often long – so sorry!). Thanks to a helpful comment on a ParentPulse survey we have added this link on our school website in case you’d like to bookmark the site and easily locate the weekly email.
Talent Show Participation… does your child plan to participate in the Talent Show on Friday, April 28 at 6:00 p.m.? Be sure to email Mrs. Barkett (kbarkett@lutheranschool.org ) with your child’s name, grade, and what he/she plans to share at the talent show by this Friday, March 24.
Mark Your Stuff… Lost and Found is full of shirts, shorts, sweatshirts, jackets, water bottles, and lunch boxes. Your NAME helps us get items returned to the owner.
Eater Egg Hunt... Saturday, April 1 at 9:00 a.m. in Harry Griffen Park! Kids age 2 – 4th grade are welcome to join us for Christ Lutheran’s Easter Egg Hunt! Tons of eggs, jumpies, face painting, snacks, and fun! Don’t miss this FREE family event!
LAST Gather + Grow - Lent in the gymnasium on Wednesday, March 29 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. We will gather from 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. for dinner hosted by the high school youth helping to fund the mission trip they’ll serve on this summer. Dinner is $10/adult, $5/child, or $30/family. Meals and dessert are homemade – hamburgers and hotdogs! From 6:15 – 7:00 p.m. childcare is provided while adults study the series The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry. Enjoy a great meal and community together! You can purchase dinner at the door or online here.

March 15 Update
Dear CLS Families,
Re-enrollment for 2023-2024… I know it’s hard to believe but it’s time to start thinking about the 2023-2024 school year. Re-enrollment instructions have been sent home electronically and in paper form. Re-enrollment has a tight window (one week) to keep this on your radar and get it completed ASAP. Questions? Please email Mrs. Ferguson at aferguson@lutheranschool.org It’s the first time in twelve years that I won’t personally be completing re-enrollment. It’s a bitter-sweet reality… I will no longer have kids enrolled at CLS and my kids have been marinated in God’s love and expertly prepared for their future academic endeavors. Thank you, CLS! I am forever grateful.
St. Patrick’s Day Spirit Day… on Friday, March 17 CLS students are invited to wear green shirts, socks, and accessories(yes, even green shoes if you have them) with uniform bottoms.
Gifts of Grace Gala 2023… thanks to everyone who purchased gala tickets! More than 240 guests will celebrate our beloved school at the Gifts of Grace Gala on Friday, March 24 at 6:30 p.m. Opportunity drawing tickets for a Macbook, tuition for a month, and lunch with the principal can still be purchased Gala 2023 You do not need to be present to win these opportunity drawings (the lunch with the principal ticket will be drawn at chapel after the gala).

Welcome Ms. Burog… Christ Lutheran School is happy to announce that Ms. Burog (also known as Ms. Micah in our Preschool) is completing her student teaching requirement to complete her CA teaching credential in CLS’s 5th grade. We are thankful to have her with us!
