Overview
Christ Lutheran Preschool has served the community of La Mesa since 1995. Our facility is open year-round Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, excluding noted holidays. Our morning enrichment program is from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Monday through Friday. Our qualified staff plans and implements a daily curriculum that encourages young children to develop excitement about learning.Â
Children must be 2 years of age to enter our preschool program. Children are accepted through age 5 or until they enter kindergarten.Â
Learning Enviornment
The purpose of Christ Lutheran Preschool is to provide a Christian learning environment where young children will be introduced to Jesus as their Savior and friend. Children will learn daily about Jesus’ unconditional love and grace for them.Â
At Christ Lutheran Preschool we have a sincere love for children and a commitment to working with families to assist them in developing their child’s full potential. Students in our preschool program learn through play and planned activities. With a structured day, they grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. Our entire staff works together to develop a program for preschool through eighth grade.Â
Our Philosophy
We believe that God desires every child to know and love Him. In Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Our goal at Christ Lutheran Preschool is to build a strong foundation in God’s Word and to create a desire within a child’s heart to joyfully serve the Lord.
